Okorocha Urges Tinubu to Release Nnamdi Kanu in Honor of Fallen Igbo Leaders
Senator Rochas Okorocha has made an impassioned plea to President Tinubu to release Nnamdi Kanu, the leader of the Indigenous People of Biafra (IPOB), as a tribute to late Senator Ifeanyi Ubah and other departed Igbo leaders. Okorocha emphasized that the freedom of Nnamdi Kanu would bring joy to the likes of Ojukwu and other notable Igbo heroes who have passed on.
During a tribute to Senator Ifeanyi Ubah, Okorocha requested that the Senate president convey his appeal to President Tinubu. He stressed that late Iwuanyanwu, Ifeanyi Ubah, Chukwuemeka Ezeife, and other Igbo leaders had made similar requests before their demise. Okorocha believes granting Nnamdi Kanu's freedom is the ultimate gift to Ifeanyi Ubah's legacy.
Okorocha's plea is a tribute to late Senator Ifeanyi Ubah and other departed Igbo leaders, who, he believes, would be honored by Nnamdi Kanu's release. This move would also promote unity among the Igbo people. Okorocha urges Ndi Igbo to abandon the politics of bitterness, which seems to justify IPOB's claims that some Igbo politicians are opposed to Nnamdi Kanu's release.
By releasing Nnamdi Kanu, President Tinubu can honor the memories of fallen Igbo leaders. For more information on this developing story
