Donald Trump's 2024 Presidential Election Win Sparks Polarized Reactions in Hollywood

The 2024 US presidential election has concluded with Donald Trump emerging victorious, and Hollywood is abuzz with mixed reactions. While some celebrities are ecstatic about the outcome, others are expressing their discontent and concern.

Podcaster Joe Rogan shared his excitement online, while Brittany Aldean likened Trump's victory to "Christmas morning" . Elon Musk, a longtime Trump supporter, posted "It is morning in America again" on X, accompanied by a photo of himself with an American flag . Mark Cuban congratulated Trump on his win, wishing him "Godspeed" .

On the other hand, many celebrities are reacting with frustration and disappointment. Billie Eilish condemned the outcome, describing it as “a war on women” . Lili Reinhart expressed her dismay, stating, "I cannot fathom the feeling of the women who came forward about their sexual assault at the hands of Trump" . Christina Applegate urged those who voted against female rights to unfollow her, saying "what you did is unreal" .

Cardi B, who campaigned for and supported Vice President Kamala Harris, wrote a heartfelt "thank you" note to her via Instagram. "To Vice President Kamala, no matter what they’ve said to bring you down or belittle your run for presidency, they can never say you didn’t run your race with honesty and with integrity!"

Kamala Harris formally conceded the 2024 presidential election during a public appearance in Washington D.C., noting that she personally called president-elect Donald Trump to congratulate him on his victory . Harris urged her supporters to never "give up," despite the loss in this election. "While I concede this election, I do not concede the fight that fueled this campaign," she said.

Other celebrities, including Stephen King, Andy Cohen, and Sophia Bush, also shared their thoughts on the election outcome. King tweeted, "There's a sign you can see in many shops that sell beautiful but fragile items: LOVELY TO LOOK AT, DELIGHTFUL TO HOLD, BUT ONCE YOU BREAK IT, THEN IT'S SOLD. You can say the same about democracy"  . Bush vowed to continue fighting for civil rights and autonomy, saying "I pray we will be okay in the morning".

The stark divide in Hollywood reflects the broader national sentiment. As the country looks to the future, many are wondering what Trump's presidency will mean for various groups, particularly women and minorities. The nation remains divided, but one thing is certain – the 2024 presidential election will have far-reaching consequences.
