Enugu, Nigeria — A new chapter has opened in Enugu State’s political landscape as High Princess Ada Ogbu (Ada Eze Odenigbo of Nara Unateze Ancient Kingdom), a founding member and leader of the All Progressives Congress (APC) in Enugu East Senatorial Zone, warmly welcomed His Excellency, Barr. Peter Ndubuisi Mbah, Executive Governor of Enugu State, to the APC.

In a powerful statement, the distinguished philanthropist, technocrat, and 2023 APC senatorial candidate described the Governor’s defection as “a historic and joyous moment for the great people of Enugu State and all true Progressives.”

“As a foundation member of the APC since February 2014, long before our first electoral victory, this moment is truly a dream fulfilled. At last, APC has a Governor in the Lion Building!” she declared.

She further called on all members of the party to embrace unity and discipline, urging old and new members alike to rally behind the Caretaker Committee led by Dr. Ben Nwoye, as constituted by the National Working Committee under His Excellency Prof. Nentawe Yilwatda.
