_Sharia Police Arrests Jigawa Commissioner for Knacking a Married woman
In a shocking turn of events, Auwal Danladi Sankara, the Commissioner of Special Duties in Jigawa State, has been arrested by the Kano State Hisbah Board for allegedly engaging in a romantic relationship with a married woman, Tasleem Baba Nabegu. The arrest took place on Friday after Hisbah operatives caught Sankara in the act in an uncompleted building that reportedly belongs to him.
According to Abba Sufi, the Director General of the Hisbah Board, Sankara's arrest was the result of intelligence tracking and a series of complaints received about his alleged misconduct. The allegations surfaced after Nasiru Bulama, the husband of the married woman, lodged complaints with multiple authorities, including the Kano State Police Command and the Department of State Services (DSS). Bulama accused Sankara of engaging in illicit sexual activities with his wife, who is also the mother of his two children.
Sankara's troubles extend beyond the alleged affair. The Hisbah Board has also uncovered evidence of his involvement in operating illicit drug centers disguised as hotels, known by names including "Picklock" and "360". These establishments allegedly promote prostitution and drug addiction activities.
"We have been having problems with Sankara because he is operating illicit drug centers in the names of hotels, involving prostitution and drug addiction activities," Sufi revealed. "He will face the full force of the law for his actions."
Sankara is expected to appear in court on Monday to face charges related to the alleged affair and his involvement in illicit activities. The consequences of his actions will likely have far-reaching implications for his position as Commissioner of Special Duties in Jigawa State.
The Hisbah Board's actions demonstrate a commitment to upholding Sharia law and maintaining moral standards in the community. This arrest sends a strong message that public officials will be held accountable for their actions.
As the case unfolds, it remains to be seen how Sankara's alleged misconduct will impact his future. However, one thing is certain: the Sharia police will continue to vigilantly monitor and enforce moral conduct in the region.
The Kano State Hisbah Board has been instrumental in promoting moral values and enforcing Sharia law in the state. Their efforts have led to numerous arrests and prosecutions of individuals involved in immoral activities.
In this case, the Board's swift action has brought justice to the victim and her family. Bulama, the husband of the married woman, expressed gratitude to the Hisbah Board for their prompt response to his complaints.
The arrest of Auwal Danladi Sankara serves as a reminder that public officials are not above the law. It emphasizes the importance of accountability and the need for those in positions of power to uphold the highest moral standards.
